During these challenging times, Aiken Center has been monitoring the developments of the COVID-19 virus. Prioritizing the health and safety of our patients, staff and the community, we have have resumed services at a full-time pace, but with reduced group sizes and increased sanitization practices. We also currently ask all patients and visitors to wear a mask when inside the building.
Clients on Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) are a special priority for us because of the risk of accidental death due to overdose. Any client in need of medication in order to help with withdrawal from opioid drugs, please call us immediately.
During this time of additional stress, Aiken Center is still offering free access to Narcan to anyone who needs it-including caregivers. Narcan is a lifesaving drug that can help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Please call our office to find out how you can get Narcan at (803) 649-1900. Narcan is free from our agency and includes quick, easy instructions for emergency delivery.
