What to Expect:

At Aiken Center, we start by getting to know you through an initial screening to understand how we can best help. We have walk in hours Mon-Thurs at 8:30 am and again at 1 pm. You will start by meeting with one of our peer support staff for an individual orientation and after, you will have a one-on-one meeting with a counselor who will take time to learn about your strengths and needs. This helps us set the stage for a successful recovery journey. Plan on spending about 3 hours for your initial appointment.

Following the assessment, you will work with your counselor to set goals for treatment that will help you tackle the challenges you’re facing resulting from substance use or misuse. We understand that life can be complicated, so we make sure to support you in all areas as you work towards a healthier future.

You will need to bring in a photo ID, insurance card (if applicable) and any referral information (if applicable). No one is turned away based on inability to pay. Financial assistance is available by completing a brief financial application during your first appointment.
